BATTLE OF JUAREZ 1911
2014, 12pp, B&W, bond | Edition of 100

The events surrounding this final battle of the first wave of the Mexican Revolution marked the end of Porfirio Diaz' long rule as president of Mexico. Generals Pancho Villa and Pasqual Ororzco grew impatient with their leader Francisco Madero's dithering and initiated the battle on their own. The revolutionaries had to angle their attack so as not to let stray bullets enter the U.S. even as U.S. citizens were entertained by the fighting. Though a victory for Madero and the revolutionaries eventually led him to the presidency, the end of the battle did not satisfy his allies as some split into smaller factions.
